  • We don’t sell personal information or share it for advertising.

Who we are

Slick Minds, Inc. operates this website and Slick Minds Studio. You can reach us at support@slickminds.com.

Information we collect

When you visit this website

You don’t need an account, and there are no forms, cookies, analytics or tracking pixels. Every font, image and script on this site is served from our own web server.

Like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, the page that linked you here, and the date and time. We use these logs only to run and protect the site, for example to fix errors and stop abuse. We don’t use them to build profiles or combine them with other information. Logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

If you switch between the light and dark themes, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

When you email us

We receive your email address, your name if you include it, your message and anything you attach. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.

When you buy from our Etsy shop

Purchases are made on Etsy and are covered by Etsy’s Privacy Policy. Etsy handles payment, and we never receive your card details. Etsy gives us the order details it gives every seller, such as your name, Etsy username and the items you bought. We use them only to deliver your order, help you with it and keep the records the law requires.

Downloads delivered through Google Drive

Some large bundles are delivered through a Google Drive link. When you open one, you are on Google Drive, and Google’s Privacy Policy applies. We don’t use these links to collect information about you.

How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

  • answer your questions and help with orders and downloads;
  • deliver the products you buy;
  • run, maintain and protect this website and our services;
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We don’t use personal information for advertising, and we don’t sell it or rent it to anyone.

When we share information

We share personal information only:

  • with the providers that host our website and email, and only so they can provide those services;
  • with Etsy, as part of selling through Etsy’s marketplace;
  • when the law requires it, or when it’s needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Slick Minds, our customers or others;
  • with a successor organization if Slick Minds is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, which would remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Etsy and Google Drive use their own cookies under their own policies when you visit them.

How long we keep information

  • Server logs: a limited time, then deleted.
  • Emails: as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of our correspondence.
  • Etsy order details: as long as needed to support your purchase and as required for tax and accounting records.
  • Google user data in Slick Minds Studio: see below.

How we protect information

This site is served only over HTTPS. Access to our systems is limited to the people who run Slick Minds. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Your choices

Email support@slickminds.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you, and we’ll tell you if we must keep anything, such as tax records. Information Etsy holds about you is managed through your Etsy account.

Children

This website and our shop aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Slick Minds Studio and Google user data

Slick Minds Studio is an internal production tool used only by Slick Minds staff. It isn’t available to the public, and the only Google account connected to it is Slick Minds’ own. This section describes exactly how it uses Google user data.

What it accesses

  • Google Drive, with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. This scope lets the Studio work only with the files and folders it creates. It can’t see, open or change any other file in the Drive.
  • Basic account information. The display name and email address of the connected Google account, read through the Google Drive API so the Studio can show which account is connected.

How it uses it

The Studio uses Google Drive for one purpose: delivering download bundles that are too large for Etsy’s file limits. It:

  • creates a “Slick Minds Bundles” folder, and a folder for each bundle inside it;
  • uploads the bundle’s files, which are Slick Minds’ own product files, into that folder;
  • sets each bundle folder so that anyone with the link can view and download it, which is how buyers receive their bundle;
  • searches among the folders it created, so it can reuse them.

It doesn’t read or download the contents of any file, change files after uploading them, or delete files, including its own.

Storage and retention

  • Sign-in tokens. The Google access and refresh tokens are stored only on the computer that runs the Studio, in the app’s local data folder. They aren’t sent to any of our servers or to anyone else. They’re kept until the Studio is disconnected from Google, which deletes them. If a token stops working, the Studio deletes it.
  • Folder IDs and share links. The Drive ID and share link of each bundle folder are saved with that product’s record on the same computer, so the link can go in the download PDF that buyers get from Etsy. They’re kept as long as the product record exists.
  • Account name and email address. Read when the Studio shows its connection status, and not stored.
  • Files in Google Drive. Files the Studio creates stay in Slick Minds’ Google Drive until we delete them in Drive.

Sharing

We don’t sell Google user data, transfer it to third parties or use it for advertising. We don’t send Google user data to AI services, and we don’t use it to develop or train AI or machine-learning models. The AI tools we use to create designs never receive Google user data.

The bundle folders the Studio shares by link contain only Slick Minds product files, and they’re shared on purpose so buyers can download what they bought.

Revoking access and deleting data

  • Disconnect in the Studio. Disconnecting Google Drive in the Studio’s settings deletes the stored tokens from the computer.
  • Revoke at Google. Access can be removed completely from the connected Google account at myaccount.google.com/connections.
  • Delete files. Files the Studio created can be deleted directly in Google Drive.

For questions about this data, email support@slickminds.com.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Slick Minds Studio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change significantly affects how we handle your information, we’ll say so on this page.
