These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover your use of www.slickminds.com (the “Site”), operated by Slick Minds, Inc. (“Slick Minds”, “we”, “us”), a Georgia corporation. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Using the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal and business purposes. Please don’t:
- interfere with the Site, its security or the server it runs on;
- try to get into any part of our systems that isn’t public;
- copy the Site’s content in bulk, including by automated means, except for normal search engine indexing;
- use the Site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights.
Purchases and licenses
Slick Minds designs are sold through our Etsy shop. Purchases, payments, refunds and downloads are handled by Etsy under Etsy’s terms and policies.
Each design comes with the Slick Minds Commercial Use License, which sets out how you may use it. Any description of the license on this Site is only a summary. If it differs from the license, the license applies.
Intellectual property
The designs, artwork, images, text, logos and the Slick Minds name on this Site belong to Slick Minds, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The previews shown on the Site are for display only. Viewing them doesn’t give you any right to download, copy or use them. A license to use a design comes only with a purchase, under the Commercial Use License.
Slick Minds Studio
Slick Minds Studio is an internal tool used only by Slick Minds staff. It isn’t offered to the public, and nothing on this Site gives anyone access to it or a license to use it. How it handles Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services and links
The Site links to services we don’t control, including Etsy and Google Drive. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we’re not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Availability
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Site at any time without notice. We don’t promise that the Site will always be available or free of errors.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Warranties and remedies for products you buy are governed by the Commercial Use License and Etsy’s policies.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Slick Minds, Inc. won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site won’t exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the product the claim is about, or US $100.
Some places don’t allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Using the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
